Who Are We

Kirembe United Women Association is not a profit making organization and fully registered as community based organization that started in 2010 by 2 committed women dedicated to promote and empower rural marginalized women in various communities to help them overcome social injustices and prevailing poverty. It was started to help vulnerable women to meet their rights and survival and to be the most competent and effective organization in providing services to alleviate mass suffering of all vulnerable women. We solely benefit women as our major beneficiaries.

Women around the world and particularly in Uganda have been exposed to social and economic vulnerability due to inherited social cultural and detribalization of the economy. This situation has called upon women to form /organize groups, which will enable them to get away with social economic vulnerability. Women vulnerability is directly related to poverty. In order to eradicate poverty, the need for analyzing its root causes and ways to tackle the problem is of great importance

Mission

Improving the quality of life of the vulnerable women through providing education, giving care, love and support and additionally to promotes livelihood empowerment of rural Community vulnerable women in various areas affecting humanity.

Empowered vulnerable women with affordable skills for sustainable development and advocating for the human rights of the marginalized

Main Objectives

  • To promote the dignity of women and fighting for their health in various communities.
  • Fighting for the rights of women in accordance to Sustainable Development goals (SDGs).
  • To inspire women to initiate projects which are directed towards elimination of poverty, unemployment, disease, hunger and Illiteracy.
  • To motivate disadvantaged and marginalized rural poor women to take full participation in programmes that enables them to realize their full potential that will help them o meet their basic needs.
