TRAINING AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

We deal with rural marginalized women and needy communities. We ensure socio-economic security for vulnerable households; KUWA offers sustainable interventions that go beyond immediate assistance by working with existing women and youth village groups, as well as establishing new ones.

We look forward to offering revolving micro-loans to supplement the savings and lending activities of village groups that are not able to access financial services, and also promote savings clubs among schoolchildren.

Our Approach,

This program provides financial literacy (savings mobilization, financial planning, and bookkeeping), financial management services (saving products and savings loans), and business training (enterprise selection, management of petty businesses, and marketing) for the resource-poor people to improve their quality of life, and also provides an opportunity for improved social structure and support within a community.

We contract the parents of the children we work with and provide them with work and income, so they are able to support their families. Village groups provide members with secure savings while simultaneously encouraging beneficiary households to save and access manageable loans at an interest rate determined by the group members. This approach enables women and youth to pursue their personal goals and dreams by establishing their own businesses while also empowering them to take better care of themselves and their families.
